Healing the Past Doesn't Always Determine Your Future

Doing The Work gets to back to basecamp, but I think physics will propel you to higher heights.

Healing the Past Doesn't Always Determine Your Future
Everything Everywhere All at Once uses quantum physics concepts like superposition (multiple states at once) and entanglement (interconnectedness) as narrative devices to explore the multiverse. Will you?

I realised somewhere along the line that my healing journey had plateaued. It was when I moved back to Wolverhampton and I simply needed to switch off and rest my brain. Healing is a full-time job and I'd been doing it nonstop for the last 10 years. That work became my book and in 2024 when it was published, I took a break from all the self-development.

But then 18 months later, I realised I was flatlining. I needed to start my system again and focus on designing my future.

Not because healing is ineffective, but because healing, by design, is conservative. It stabilises. It restores. It brings the nervous system back from the edge and teaches it that survival is no longer the only task. This is essential work. It is biological triage. And for many people, it is the first time their body has ever been allowed to exhale. The first month I was home I slept. Like for a month. I was safe.

Healing had brought me to safety, but not to motion. I was kinda meh about my future success, when before it was all so clear. So what happens after safety?
