New Method 19 | Develop Adult Friendships

New Method 19 | Develop Adult Friendships

This is your weekly affirmation to help you build your personal philosophy. Have a great weekend!

Take a deep breathe in...and say it with me...

We actively seek new friends that we have chosen for their qualities. There comes a turning point when we start to shed the friends we made that were arbitrary and default. We went to the same school. We grew up next door to each other. Our parents were friends. And so on. Some of these friends will grow with you and some of them will not. We build new relationships on the basis of shared beliefs and ideals so that we do not feel alone in our New Methods journey. Even though it can be weird and hard and embarrassing to make new friends as a grown-up, we know that healthy social bonds are key to our survival and so we push through.
