New Method 26 | Define Your Personal Vision, Mission and Principles

This is your weekly affirmation to help you build your personal philosophy. Have a great weekend!
Take a deep breathe in...and say it with me...
A manifesto is a rallying cry to the world, and our personal Vision, Mission and Principles is a rallying cry to the self. We document our own manifesto to declare our intentions, align our actions, and pursue a purposeful life. Our personal vision encapsulates the world we want to live in and create for the next generation. Our mission states how we will make that impact. It serves as a guiding star, inspiring us to reach for the extraordinary. With our principles, we articulate actions. If we stand for nothing, we will fall for anything, so we create our own doctrine to define us.
Here is mine:

Actions
- Write Your Vision Statement: Imagine the world you want to create—what legacy do you want to leave? For inspiration, watch The Pursuit of Happyness to see how vision shapes action.
- Craft Your Mission: Define how you’ll make your vision a reality. What’s your unique contribution or approach? Consider reading Start With Why by Simon Sinek for guidance.
- List Your Principles: Identify the values you’ll live by—like integrity, creativity, or kindness—and write them down. Watch Dead Poets Society to reflect on the power of standing for something.
