Designing a Year With Absolute Focus
I’ve been running this Vision Setting Workshop every year since 2019. Some of you have been coming back year after year. Thousands of women have been through this process with me, long before Stack World was even called Stack World.
What I’ve noticed, both in my own life and in the lives of the women I work with, is that we’re not short on ambition or discipline. We know how to plan. We know how to work hard. The issue is that the way we’ve been taught to plan a year doesn’t really account for energy, momentum, or what happens when life speeds up.
I’ve been thinking a lot about this as I plan for 2026. In Chinese astrology, 2026 is the Year of the Fire Horse. It’s a year associated with movement, visibility and momentum. It’s not a year that responds well to hesitation or endless refinement. It rewards clarity of direction. What’s interesting is that this year doesn’t begin on January 1st. It begins on 17 February 2026, which gives us a small but important window to pause and decide where we actually want next year’s energy to go.
So this year, I’m changing how we do vision setting.
Instead of setting lots of intentions on the famous spreadsheet, we’re slowing right down and choosing just three anchors for the year. Three things that genuinely matter, in different areas of your life. We then work backwards from those anchors to plan the year in a way that supports momentum without leading to burnout. This is the exact process I’m using myself now. Fewer goals. Cleaner decisions. More intentional exits. A lot more respect for energy.
If you’ve done this workshop with me before, this will feel familiar but different. If you’re new, it’s a gentle but serious way to approach the year ahead. It’s not about manifesting or forcing motivation. It’s about direction.
If 2026 needs to feel clearer, calmer and more intentional for you, I’d love you to join me.
