Thanks for being a subscriber to New Methods For Women. Every Sunday I send you a newsletter giving you the BTS on how to build a beauty brand. It’s real time experiments, adventures and lessons. I hope it’s useful to all of you building something, or planning a future project.

On a near daily basis, I yearn for my sabbatical days of sleeping till 10am, drinking cider in the garden and watching movies in the middle of the day. But I chose this gangster founder life, so it is what it is.

The last 7 days were a true indication of how of what it means to be a consumer founder. I’m in the luteal phase of my cycle so I was more productive than ever.

  • I did some of my best work this week but also ran into some creative blocks.
  • I committed to fundraising and immediately had positive inbound.
  • I mapped the next 5 collections out visually and spotted some potential future issues.
  • I launched our first content series for the brand.

It’s been a hella busy week gang, so once again, here is all my Founder BTS along with all my lessons learned.

But first, focus

On March 1st I deleted the Instagram app from my phone. The mindless scrolling was resulting in hours lost. Take a look at my screen time:
