From Idea to Launch: My 15-Month Brand-Building Diary

Everyone thinks a brand begins on launch day. After I wrote my ultimate Brand Building Checklist, it occurred to me that it's sort of looked like this brand has just appeared from nowhere. But it's been about a year or so of work. Or eight years for the concept. Or a lifetime of finding the thing that was right for me.

Truth is, brands start in the small, messy moments — in between the research, kids’ bedtime, half-drunk coffees, and late-night Googling.
39BC didn’t just appear. It took a year of nudges, late nights, and more than a few moments of doubt. I kept a diary (sometimes just voice notes on my phone) and thought I’d share what the last twelve months really looked like.
After the paywall, I'll share each milestone over the last year from commissions to fundraising for how I built my brand.
